  • The vehicle that passes the inspection is sold or exchanged for a new disabled vehicle at a notary public.

What is the Cost of a Disabled Vehicle Cancellation?

The fee to be paid to the project company for disabled vehicle cancellation varies according to the brand and model of the vehicle. According to the current data for 2024, the TSE Vehicle and File Inspection Fee is 2954 ₺ (TL) for the Disabled Assembly Dismantling Project. Generally, TÜVTÜRK inspection is not required for such assembly/disassembly projects. Notary license renewal fee is 1138,15 ₺ (TL).

Important Notes for Disabled Vehicle Cancellation

  • Disabled vehicle cancellation must be done before 5 years have passed from the first acquisition of the vehicle. Otherwise, the OTV difference must be paid when the vehicle is sold.
  • The disabled vehicle cancellation process cannot be completed without deleting the statement that the vehicle is a disabled vehicle on the vehicle license.
  • Disabled vehicle cancellation does not constitute an obstacle to the sale or exchange of the vehicle. On the contrary, it is necessary for the sale to be completed.
