1. Project Process

• For the superstructure modification of your vehicle, a project must be prepared in accordance with the AITM (Manufacture, Modification and Assembly of Vehicles) regulation.
• For renovations involving hydraulic systems, a CE declaration of conformity must be obtained from TSE within the scope of the 2006/42/EC Machinery Safety Regulation.
• Before renovation, the renovator and the AITM authorized mechanical engineer should discuss weights, measures and other equipment.

2.Project Approval

• The project prepared for modification is reviewed and approved by the authorized engineer of AITM.
• After the project is approved, the approval process is completed by the TSE Vehicle Project Directorate.

3.Inspection and Registration

• The modified vehicle is inspected by the TSE Vehicle Control Center anywhere in Turkey.
• The vehicle is then inspected at TÜV-TÜRK stations.
• A certificate of conformity is obtained according to the results of the inspection and registration procedures are carried out through a notary public.

Dump Body Project Implementation Requirements

• It must be ensured that the vehicle and the chassis to be applied are designed in accordance with the AITM regulation.
• CE certificate of conformity must be obtained in tipper applications involving hydraulic system.
• During the project process, technical opinion should be obtained from AITM authorized engineer.

Documents Required for Dump Body Project

• Vehicle registration certificate
• Dump body invoice
• Dump body and dimensional dimensions
• Video image of the Damper lock for inspection
• CE certificate of the damper assembly

Types of Dump Body Project

1. Rock Type Dumper Frame

• It is designed for large capacity trucks, usually used in quarries and dam construction.
• In order to be resistant to impacts, it is manufactured with thick sheets and in a way to protect the shape.

2. Normal Type Damper Case

• It is mounted on medium-sized trucks and used for the transportation of smaller volumes of materials.
• It is usually produced in volumes of 3-5 m3.

Damper Kasa Project Features

• At least 5 mm thickness on the base, at least 4 mm thickness on the side sheets and at least 3 mm thickness on the visor sheets.
• Indentations and protrusions that will prevent material flow at the base of the case should be minimized.
• There must be a visor on the front of the chassis to protect the driver’s seat.
• There should be a cover on the back of the safe that can be opened from the top and bottom and there should be devices to ensure safety when opening.
• All dimensions must comply with the Road Traffic Regulations.
