Auto Rescuer Project - Van to Pickup Truck Conversion
Auto Rescuer Project - Van to Pickup Truck Conversion
In order to be able to operate the auto rescuer superstructure you have installed on your pickup truck, you need to have an auto rescuer project drawn by authorized mechanical engineers. First of all, we prepare the self-rescuer project, upload it to the system and create a project number. Then it is checked together with your project at TSE Vehicle Control Center. With the document we send after the control, you will enter TÜV-TÜRK Modification Inspection and apply to the notary with the documents you will receive after the inspection and it will be recorded in your license. If there is no change in the axle distance of your vehicle, if there is no excess in the maximum lengths, your vehicle is projected without a test report.

Auto Rescuer Project: Some Issues Related to Superstructure
- The superstructures must be found to be within the maximum and minimum dimensions and masses declared by the base vehicle manufacturer.
- In the body construction of category N vehicles, the appropriateness of the load distribution must be checked.
- It shall be checked that superstructure chassis connections are made with appropriate methods. It should be determined that measures are taken to prevent crushing of the chassis profile in U-bolted connections.
- The frame and fenders, together with the tires and snow chains of the largest diameter for the vehicle, must ensure that there is at least 50 mm clearance even in the worst conditions.
- It must be established that the outermost position of the frames at the rear with respect to the rear protective frame is within the limits of Regulation 70/221/EC or UN/ECE Regulation 58.
